My Counseling Approach

My passion is to help individuals live intentionally. To be vulnerable. To be strong and to be passionate.

My main purpose in counseling is to offer clients a safe and respectful environment.  In my work with clients, I utilize a person-center approach with a primary focus on cognitive behavioral therapy. Every person is different, which is why I make it my mission to understand the personalities of my clients. I incorporate approaches such as, narrative therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. It is important for to me aid my clients in understanding their strengths and find areas of growth. My experience in working with clients and their families includes a variety of techniques such as journaling, relaxation, role-playing, and self-talk.
